Why consistency matters (real cases)

Consistency is the cumulative force that turns small daily actions into extraordinary results. It outlasts initial motivation because it creates automatic habits that require less mental effort, and it ensures sustained long-term progress in the face of any adversity.

Consistency is the fundamental pillar that turns our goals into realities. Although motivation gives us the initial push, consistency allows us to continue when enthusiasm disappears and the path becomes monotonous or difficult. It rests on small daily actions that generate exponential progress over time, turns behaviours into habits, frees up mental energy, and helps us overcome obstacles and turn failures into ongoing learning.

Real examples include Stephen King, who despite publishers' initial rejections is now one of the world's most prolific and successful authors; or J. K. Rowling, who faced years of constant rejection and deep poverty before publishing Harry Potter. And we should not forget elite athletes such as Rafa Nadal and Lionel Messi, who have attributed much of their success not only to innate talent, but to an unshakeable daily routine of training and continuous improvement.

So when you have one of those uncomfortable moments, think of the authors of Misery or Harry Potter and keep going!!!
