How many hours a day should I study?
If you are an absolute beginner, I recommend spending between 15 and 20 minutes a day. It is better to study a little every day than to have long sessions from time to time. As you progress and start working with past tenses, you can increase your study time to around 25–30 minutes a day. But it will not be so difficult, you will see! Past tenses are so entertaining that half an hour will fly by.
At intermediate level, the ideal is to keep up around 30 minutes of consistent study a day, in addition to your classes, of course. Regularity will be the key to progressing confidently and gaining fluency.
At advanced levels, learning often already forms a natural part of your daily routine: listening to podcasts, watching series, reading and holding real conversations in Spanish will be your best practice.
